的 pre-registration steps below are for transfer students starting classes in the 2024年夏季学期. If you will start classes in the 2024 fall semester, follow the steps listed on the fall 2024 transfer student webpage.

- Completion is estimated to take one hour, and you may stop and return as often as you wish

- Your family and friends may also complete 你属于这里 by using the guest login option. This will help them be well-informed and involved in supporting your success.

的 NDSU math placement survey determines which math course best matches your previous academic experiences. All students must complete the survey even if they have math transfer credit.

- 的 survey does not replace official transcripts. You will still need to send transcripts from colleges that awarded your college level credit.

的 NDSU English placement survey determines which English course best matches your previous academic experiences. All students must complete the survey even if they have English transfer credit.

Schedule a Class Registration Appointment with an Academic Advisor
An academic advisor will meet with you online to answer questions, provide class recommendations, and guide you through registration.

Have your changed your major?
- If you wish to change your major from the one you listed on your application to NDSU, update us at ndsu.apply@botuml.com or (800) 488-6378. Please include your seven-digit NDSU ID in communications, which can be found in your admission letter.
Make an 取向 Reservation
Transfer students are encouraged to attend 取向 4月19日.
- Instructions for making a reservation will be sent to your email on February 1 or shortly after your NDSU admission.
- We encourage students to register in classes prior to 取向. 然而, if you haven't met with an academic advisor to register by your 取向 date, you will register during 取向.

- An official final transcript for all in-progress college coursework must be sent to the NDSU Office of Admission. You are encouraged to send any in-progress official transcripts not already on file, prior to your appointment with an academic advisor to assist with advising and registration. If you choose to wait to send official transcripts until after you have completed all courses, you should be prepared to show your academic advisor an unofficial transcript or log into your student account during your advising session.
